Lily Moran

Lily Moran is a West Virginian at heart. Born in California and raised in southern Ohio and West Virginia, Lily found her home in Appalachia.

After graduating from Capital High School in Charleston, Lily studied anthropology, sociology, and communications at West Virginia University.
Following college, Lily worked in medical office management and health and nutrition. She is a mental health advocate and certified yoga teacher. She trained in a trauma-informed approach to yoga instruction to serve individuals in recovery.
Lily and her partner share a deep love for people, spirituality, and service to West Virginia.

The baby formula shortage is a major concern for families. However, no one in WV discusses a senior citizen’s lack of access to food. There are areas of the state considered food deserts. Seniors may not have transportation to a grocery store 30+ miles away. #seniorcitizens
